Stephanie has been seen on television many times and is always cooking in various barbecue competitions across the country, most recently, Steph appeared on Food Networks Chopped Grill Masters and is the Chopped Grill Masters Kansas City Champ. She made it all the way to the final dessert category placing second overall out of 16 talented competitors. She has also competed on Food Network shows: All Night BBQ Fight, Pit Masters and FireMasters. Stephanie is working hard on expanding The Slabs product line, duking it out on the competition bbq circuit, teaching cooking classes, doing product demonstrations, and providing her award-winning barbecue for private catering events. Stephanie Wilson’s roots in cooking run deep. Especially when it comes to barbecue. She’s a founding member of the multi-award-winning barbecue team TheSlabs.com which has its own line of commercial sauces and rubs. She worked as an office manager, judge, and contest rep in the early days of the Kansas City Barbecue Society.
