We are so excited to invite you to a seated class on pairing rare, native wines with foods.

We will be tasting our flagship and most popular grape- Norton- produced five different ways in this intimate and interactive setting. A spread of small plates by local chef Neller Card-Knabel will allow you to pair and explore salt, fat, acid, and heat and the way it interacts with our rare local wines.

Chef Neller Card-Knabel is native to the Midwest. She grew up in the Chicagoland area and moved to Door County, Wisconsin with her then infant daughter. Love and barbecue brought Neller to the Kansas City area in 2021. Her journey in the culinary world began as a young child, cooking alongside her grandmother.

Chef Neller is a graduate of Kendall College, the Midwest's premier culinary school in Chicago, Illinois. Her education sharpened the skills she learned many years prior in the kitchen with her grandmother. She has more than 20 years experience in professional kitchens as well as restaurant management, catering/event planning, and industry training.

Chef Neller is the owner and executive chef of Peach Tree & Poppy Catering in Weston, Missouri. She’s passionate about using fresh local ingredients and blending traditional flavors with new techniques.

Wine pairings, welcome beverage, and dinner included in ticket price.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Parking is available on-site. Public transportation options are limited to cabs/uber/lyft.

Is this venue wheelchair accessible?

Yes! The accessible entrance is located just to the left of our greenhouse.

What's the refund policy?

Due to the nature of this event, we do not offer refunds but do allow ticket transfers or credit toward a future event with TerraVox.
