About the Chef: Joe Messina's culinary journey began in the Bronx, NYC, before moving to the Catskill Mountains at age 8. Surrounded by farms and wild game, he developed a passion for fine foods. At 14, he started in a resort kitchen, rising to chef by 18 at The Stone Ends, one of NY's top restaurants. He then founded Adventure In Food Trading Company, specializing in exotic offerings like caviar and wild game. Joe's entrepreneurial spirit led to a five-star winery and restaurant, focusing on organic produce and livestock. Later, he found TerraVox Winery, where he aims to cap his career with innovative culinary and winemaking practices.
